The NFL is still recognizable, the NHL is not. This is a totally different league, even from just ten years ago.

This NHL really is what Don Cherry always warned it was going to become "ballet on ice"
This is true, but still, both sports are continuing to move rapidly in the direction of nerfing themselves, it's just happening fastest in hockey. MMA on the other hand is not doing that.
I can't into MMA, it's not gonna replace Wendel Clark for me.
It doesn't need to replace Wendel though, it's just value added. You could get into MMA, it's not like you don't like watching fights.

I might tune in for the big pay per view event, but I don't follow MMA, it just doesn't interest me.

Well there are certainly some fight cards that I wouldn't even bother watching if I didn't gamble and was a casual fan. MMA is actually a fun sport to follow though, it's freak show nature is pretty entertaining, lots of lulz to be had from total nutjobs acting a fool, prizefighters are a strange breed.

I'm a team sport guy, I was always about the Firm, the home team.

The problem is : I hate the home towns now, I hate Toronto and Ottawa most of all.

I'm a team sports guy too, but when it comes to individual sports, MMA is king. Certainly better than Women's Tennis, pro tip.

It's not like I follow women's tennis closely. My top individual sport is Formula 1 : tho it's more about the cars.

See it's not like you are against individual sports. Cars and Fights, what's not to like?

Like I say, if it's a big card, I'll tune in for MMA, like Khabib - Ferguson, I'll pay to see that

Any fight with Khabib on the card really, I'll be up for that.

Hopefully the fifth time is the charm, it's going down April 18th, unless Lucy pulls the football away again, which I'm pretty much expecting until Bruce Buffer says It's Time.

Even if it's not Ferguson, I pay to view Khabib fight anybody.
