But you know what? I'm just getting old now, It's a pain, so I can't be bothered anymore.

Getting to an age where sports are a young mans game and I'd rather just kick back and relax instead.

Holee sheet, I almost got sprayed by a skunk.

Walking around in the dark in my yard, I see an animal, I think its a rabbit, so I just kept walking.

At the last second I think "why is this rabbit not bounding away from me?"

I hit it with the flashlight; skunk. Cocked locked and ready to rock, tail up, weapons hot.

Back away slowly, no sudden movement. lulz,

I've had a strange intrusion on my property.

Somebody has come from the woods below and left a small pile of gravel on my lawn.

Nothing's missing, no signs of vandalism, nor any other criminal activity.

None the less, no way this pile of gravel gets here without a person putting it here, and it wasn't my neighbors.

So I'm in ambush patrol mode, but I forgot about skunks.

Probably a one-off, but better safe than sorry. Maybe some trespasser was lugging a bag of gravel through your property and spilled some, but even if that is the case, that's still weird af.
