So far they are the only ones who look good.

Marner looks like he just got overpaid so now he feels the need to prove something, so he's just running around trying to do too much.

Mo Rielly and Cody Ceci look bad, very bad, they are just getting rolled in their zone, no chemistry yet.

Muzzin - Barrie looks good, they are the top D pairing out of the gate.

Rasmus Sandin looks very good, not quite ready yet in terms of strength, but he's gonna be star, maybe a superstar, hockey IQ is elite.

It is just the preseason, I wouldn't be too worried about it.

It's not so much worry, I'm just closely watching the Rielly - Ceci combo with due skepticism.

I'm the one that says Ceci is not going to be terrible, but on the other hand he's not going to be great neither.

The concern is more Rielly, he needs to dial in and be solid when paired with a loose cannon like Ceci.

ION, Rasmus Sandin starting tonight against the Habs, hasn't been sent down with the rest of the Marlies.

Yeager Korshkov still on the team too.

Tkachuck signs 3 x 7, another bridge.

Pierre Lebrun saying the Avs are looking to sign Rantanen long term, seven years at over nine million.

Funny; Pittsburgh already trying to get rid of Jack Johnson

7 x under 10 million would be pretty sweet. Hope that rumor is true.

Rasmus Sandin getting better as he goes, he's solid both ways, he's generating offence and shutting people down.

He's great at taking people out without having to use size, he's an elite checker just on IQ and jam.

Again, style comparable is Duncan Kieth.

Montreal didn't bring their A game, none the less the Leafs had jump and played well as a result.

Martin Marincin has turned into a serviceable bottom pairing D, he and Sandin are gelling nicely.

Codi Ceci didn't make any noticeable gaffs, didn't do anything great, but wasn't a liability.

Ilya Mikheyev looked good, lots of hustle, forcing turnovers, hounding pucks, going to the net.

Matthews had a burr in his saddle, he actually dished out some body checks.

Must be pissed off about the #metoo rent-a-cop down in Scottsdale.

Kapanen still not impressing me in Hyman's slot, but Marner and Tavares were good.
