There is no specific law banning any particular gun in Canada.

There is no law which says the AR15 is banned per se.

That's not how it works.

There's only one law governing the guns, and that law is the RCMP Act.

So in fact, politicians do not decide in Canada

Even if they write a law, the RCMP still decides how to interpret it.

And the RCMP is incompetent

I don't know who they hire to be their gun experts, but they are obviously complete fools.

Thus, wait, out.

Because the RCMP bans things for nonsensical reasons.

But they also decline to ban things for nonsensical reasons too.

Plus I suspect the Chinese have some sort of backroom influence here.

Which is why the Chinese made guns are the ones that never get banned.

The Liberals will write a law which bans "Military Style Assault Weapons"
