Russia has the best team on paper. It they can get all those stars to play like a team they will be hard to stop. Sweden is probably the second best followed by Canada. USA doesn't have the same amount of quality but you can never discount a young US team. Jack Hughes, Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau and Patrick Kane will have to do some heavy lifting.

The Finns are sending a team without NHL players. They all declined. Count them out.

The Czecks look better even if they will have to do without David Pastrnak and Tomas Hertl this time.

Not that I think Kakko won't be an elite player, but this is the big ice, so it doesn't necessarily translate to the NHL.

For example Nylander was MVP of this tournament, but he'll never win the Hart Trophy on NHL ice.
