Nothing will stop F-35 now. Already selected by 12 air forces and counting. Done deal.

It's already getting stopped. They have to figure out how to replace the air superiority fighters. F-35 is just an F-16 replacement. And it costs so much that we are fucked.

This F-15X move was an earthquake in the contracting world. It signals a lot of shit going on behind the scenes. That's why the corrupt F-35 corporate cronies in Congress are freaking out.

My guess is that something big is afoot. LMC had the F-22 contract too, though, so if they are going to punish Lockmart for this fraud, then maybe it's something completely new.

Bare minimum, we need to keep replacing the F-15C inventory with air superiority fighters. There's no way around that fact. F-35 is not and can never be an air superiority fighter. It's a support role and nothing more.

Well, the F-35 is not replacing those F-15 squadrons. LMFAO

We are talking up to about 400 aircraft replaced with the F-15X.

Which, in a way, sucks, because the F-15X is not a fifth generation air superiority fighter, obviously. We took a real hit with the graft of that corrupt F-35 program. It really could cost us a war.

F-35 is not intended nor contracted to replace F-15.

The F-15 replacement was F-22.

Fake Reform Hacks got that cancelled with their Winslow Wheeler talking points.

F-15 has a manufacturing flaw. Longerons are cracking, can't be refurbished.

If the Air Force needs more F-15's, go ahead and buy some.

Wont effect the F-35 program.

F-35 v. F-15 is a fallacious canard.

It was fully their intention to force the F-35 as a replacement for the F-15, which would have condemned us to a major defeat in any future war against Russia or China.

They lost and they are fucking pissed right now. But I think the fury of the Lockmart cronies belies something bigger going down. They shouldn't be that concerned about F-15 inventories getting a stop-gap update until we can get new air superiority fighters. Something else is going on.

Secret Pentagon meetings with fighter manufacturers bodes poorly for Lockmart.

F-35 is here to stay, the program is going to last for decades.

Your F-15 bed wetting is a fallacious and so rather boring canard.

Move on already.

Oh, yeah, we certainly are stuck with that pile of shit insomuch as the inventory Congress has saddled us with (from plenty of bribes from Lockmart no less), but the Pentagon clearly wants out of this deal.
