Yeah, they are using her as a straw man to attack something they can't easily attack on financial grounds.

But it ain't going to happen. Way too much money is at stake for the insurance and drug companies, and they are old hands at buying our government and convincing people to be scared of the big government Boogeyman.

You see the problem - but still espouse “Good government” - why do you not see that abig government makes it easier for special interests to control and fuck middle class? Centralized power is rarley. Good thing.

Now you're into ideology rather than facts or history. Big business made an art form of fucking the middle and lower classes long before "big government" stepped in around the turn of the 20th century. Environmental destruction, poisonous food, deadly work condition, the list is endless. Yet you are their robot spouting "big government BAD!!" If the GOP leadership were honest about their desire to destroy SS and Medicare, they'd never win another election. Everyone's for deregulation until it's THEIR water and air that's poisoned. Half my city is Superfund sites and the fish in the Hudson come with a toxic warning label because of some "visionary capitalists" who saw they could make billions by being irresponsible and leave the mess for someone else to deal with.

We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

It's all about the government.

Business is allowed to fuck over the average folk because they buy off politicians to make laws that allow that behavior. For instance Dr Hash just did a great episode on campaign contributions as a way to get rich with no guaranteed return for investment or refund for failure. It's all legal.

Don't you see that absent government they would simply fuck over the average folk with no interference anyway? You don't want no government, you want a government that's not for sale to the highest bidder ala Citizens United.

He turned the argument into a better-of-two-evils with a succinct indictment of no regulation. Something that could actually work on FB.
