If there is some grievance about censorship how is spam not censorship as well? It is called a Heckler's Veto in America, one of the only two countries that supposedly enshrined free speech in the constitution.

So what does the board think? Is spam free speech?

Is there a moderator issue we can Hash out instead of fucking off thread after thread?

Spam would be one or more person posting continuously until many pages have gone by. That is no different from a bot that also spams. We are talking about two people bombarding threads with hockey talk until it is so far gone everyone else leaves.

What I have suggested is hashing out what the problem was. I would not tolerate people bombing random threads with hockey talk in random threads. That's just me though.

I don't feel the need for that personally but talking about hockey for pages on end in threads dedicated to Syria news is clearly malicious.

This is anarcho tyranny. Even the first country to enshrine free speech doesn't tolerate this.

Muh war on muh freedoms (while I am in my neighbor's house) is why it won't work. Also, having a moderator antagonize the situation isn't helping either.

There have been attempts to derail with hockey talk that got totally ignored and topic was back on track within a post or two.
