Took 1200 mg of Tylenol at 8 o’clock. My fever at that point was 99. Now it’s 102.

Halp. I feel like poop.

You are close to having to go to the ER. Get some sweatpants and a comfortable t-shirt ready to go. Maybe get your own pillow and a blanket ready, because they don't have good shit at the ER.

Xeno, my standard is super hydrate, pound the Vitamin C, like 2000 mg a day. That's what works for me, but you know your body.

Yep. Learned the lesson the hard way. Instead of the flu, it could be meningitis, or in my case probably WNV, and it can get bad fast after that.

It was the pounding headache and frozen neck that sent me. Should have gone earlier.

Also, you should drink gatorade for the electrolytes as your body dehydrates quickly when you have a fever.

It hit me hard on the morning of the 23rd, spent all day in bed or throwing up.

24th spent more of the day up, but still with multiple naps. I was finally able to eat that night, but I still wasn't at even close to feeling well

On the 25th I did the Xmas morning thing, had to take another nap, and it was still a struggle to eat Xmas dinner, although the fever was long gone

By the 26th I felt basically normal, just some lingering loss of appetite and tiredness.

When my fever was cranking on the 23rd I'm sure it was up at 103° or more, but I killed it with Advil

So, my fever broke around 3-ish and I’ve felt fine ever since. Weird. What vitamins would you recommend to stave off sickness? I get sick once or twice a year, but I’d still like to avoid passing my viruses to my little ones.
