The rule is that Christmas classics are only played from the 18th to the 24th. When lots of people push that out to the days immediately following Thanksgiving, it breeds contempt and resentment. There is only so much of that shit you can listen to. It's meant for a certain week (really a few days).

We should only just now have started listening to this stuff, and most of us are already completely burned out from it.
