Need a Nerd - what's wrong with Chrome?

So I have the funniest issue on this forum when I browse using Chrome.

More often than not, I cannot see images that Fife posts. They just appear blank. Only Fife. WTF? I can see them fine when I use IE, but I hate IE.

Happens to me on Firefox, too. When you quote his post, you'll sometimes see ':large' attached to the end of the image link. I think it has to do with him posting images from his phone, or an incompatible hosting site.

If you copy the image link, and remove the extra bit, you can paste it into your browser, and see it.
