NASCAR thread

Post by Okeefenokee » Fri Sep 29, 2017 9:06 pm

Since we don't have one already.

I'll look for some videos about the technicals for those who never watched, but here's some red meat to start it off.

I like NASCAR; I usually have the race on Sundays when its not football season

I wish I was around for the early days though when the cars were actually just modified from stockers. There's stories of guys using the factory cigarette lighter to light the cigs from pack of Marlboros the crew duct taped to the dashboard. During the race of course

I could definitely get into going to races, hanging out, grilling and drinking, but sitting there for three hours watching on television would not be very entertaining unless you mimic the event with your own grilling and party.

NASCAR is like F1 except with slightly slower cars and fans.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Bring lots of beads to Talladega, and get there on Friday afternoon. You literally can't have enough beads.

NASCAR lags way behind in the insufferable spoiled asshole drivers. F1 has that podium.
