Wheels down from the CCCP today at BNA, kiddos. Smashville on alert.

Eeli Tolvanen is coming as the Predators get even stronger

I just found out about this. VERY cool.

OK cousins; I'm pretty damn happy about the President's Trophy, sitting here with a game to go and all.

But Coach Trotz has some thoughts on the value of that trinket come the real season; I'm a-thinking.

Anyway, I'm happy about home ice. Who's gonna come into Smashville and win twice in a single series? :goteam: :drunk:

I don't pay much mind to the President's Trophy, sometimes it's the best team, sometimes it's not, I think the Preds are definitely top four in the league right now, with Winnipeg, Tampa, and Boston, but I tend to look at ROW and goal differential more than anything, which, the Preds are nothing to sneeze at with 46 and +54, but Tampa leads the league with 48 and +61

In terms of the playoffs, heavy hockey shift in and shift out, I think Winnipeg is a match for Nashville, I think the only edge Nashville has is experience, but if the Jets don't beat themselves, I think they can take Nashville in a seven game hard hitting series if they use their size and physical game to their advantage.

Last thing we need here in the 6ix mind you, is them Winnipeggers lording a Cup over our heads, we'd never hear the end of it, so hopefully the Preds can cut them down to size.
