And as usual, you've offered nothing but your own unsubstantiated opinions.

So . . . whatevs.

Uh.. no. Your citation didn't in any way say what you claimed it said. It said they were more likely to live in extended families, not that most of them did so. Furthermore, even if most of them lived in extended families, they'd still live in extended families somewhere. They don't live in the woods. They tend to live in apartments.

Just linking to an article doesn't somehow win the argument when it doesn't even support your case.

It offers a body of research and outside source for claims which remains unassailable to simple "My feelers are. . ." retorts, which are the only other sort of response in this thread.
Works for me.

Again: it doesn't claim what you said it claims. You even quoted the part where it didn't say what you claimed it said. It's bizarre we are even having this conversation. I am pretty sure your reading comprehension skills are not that bad.

As usual, there's a good more to it than initially meets the eye.

And how about eliminating gibs AND payroll/income taxes, and thereby putting the black market for labor out of business?

Nah, Fife. Supply and demand doesn't exist. DB says so. Just because you add millions of households to the nation without increasing housing doesn't mean rents will rise..

Well, if you're talking about legal immigrants (professionals here on Visas) and naturalized citizens, sure.
More legal competitors with the means to afford housing will drive up pricing.
No doubt.
Looks like StA has the reading comprehension issues.
