I'd rather be stranded alone too, but that doesn't mean shit. In the grand scheme of things you need people to make you famous, being famous in your mind is great, but if you want your accolades noted by all others, you need to stop pounding your chest and saying "I'm the best," instead, do something to show you are.

In my circle of people (and I know quite a few high rollers in my area) No one has ever heard of Martin Hash, your Linkedin Profile shows very little too. You were easy to find. Honestly, I believe that ego gets people far enough to get their foot in the door, an ability to perform does the rest.

I have met some of the most educated people out there. I have worked with Jesuits that have multiple doctorates (as in more than three) in science and religious studies. I've broken bread with them, had lunch with them, and designed their networks with them. They didn't laud their doctorates over me, or any others that were in the room.

You need to choose Martin, either be a person that people want to like to help you get you famous, or choose to be a raging dick about it and say "I am better than you all and make me feel important!"

So far the 2nd one is how you seem to be coming across.

I'd be happy to help you become famous, but I'm not going to do it until the raging asshole personality dies down. I don't help assholes; I help people.

Oh, and a side note... I don't care how wealthy you are, how educated you are, or anything else. If you are a good person, I will give you the shirt off my back if you need it, and have to people in the past. So please, don't tell me I am the problem here.

I'm not the one begging for attention.

Send me your shirt, dude.
I need it.
Got a roofing project going on and don't want to ruin my clothes.

Sorry, you don't need it. You want it. I've given a friend of mine who found himself homeless a room and board till he could get back on his feet. That is what I'm talking about.

I knew there wasn't going to be any shirt.

Always the boastful claims on the internet.
Never the follow through.

Pfft, if you have a job you don't need something, you want something. Now since you are roofing, you aren't making minimum wage, you are far from being in a bad spot.

Of course, if you hurt your back like a friend of mine did and no longer could do his job, I'd give you the shirt off my back to help out, but since you haven't bitched about anything of the sort, get some sun screen and stop acting like an SJC.

Don't be mizzled.

Roofers get like $70/hr in Seattle. :goteam:

I'm roofing as part of keeping up the homestead, I'm not a damn roofer.

You probably read my technical writing every month and don't even know it.
