Fitness Thread

This is why you need to incorporate calisthenics and gymnastics into your system:

You have to build all those stabilizer muscles and teach your body to actually work in a coordinated fashion.

The thing is, that bodybuilder is still doing really well for his first time on rings. It's really hard to just stabilize yourself.

Yeah, he has that Palumbo Gut going on.

I don't like the bodybuilder look that is going on these days. The body of a gymnast is the way to go. That's pure functional strength.

That's pretty cool. I get more out of videos from normal people making progress most of us can achieve.

I am telling you guys, as somebody with some severe chronic pain issues and having once let my body deteriorate to the point where I was mostly bed-ridden, this stuff is extremely important. Start doing this now. Especially if you are in your forties and up.

Since I have been doing this, my pain has been falling off dramatically.

Slacklines will help you build your stabilizer system up too.

I'm training like I'm training for a fight and two weeks in I can already see results. Its all about stabilization

Also I should have listened to you a year ago when you said to start lifting StoA. Even lifting light weights is such better work than the pure cardio swimming and other stuff I was doing before
