My son has some sort of infection (according to his "raised bands" whatever that is), so I'm stuck in this prison for at least another week.

So...how are you guys? No...don't leave. Please. Here, just sit here on this uncomfortable couch-bed with me. I have sunflower seeds and dorito's.

The lactation consultant just brought in the biggest breast pump I've ever seen. She seems out of breath.

My daughter gets really defensive when the nurses come in to take him to get his antibiotics. She'll say "Hey! That's my baby brother!" She's almost 3.

The lactation apologist left. There's something about being stuck here that brings out the misanthrope in me. I get extra aggro.

Most of the nurses are really good, but some of them have been all like, "Whoopsie, you were supposed to have pain meds an hour ago? I got busy and forgot, lolololololol." Gives me conniptions.
