Yeah I don't know what in the fuck they were thinking or if they were thinking at all. I thought those kind of draft day bone head moves were solely a Cleveland thing but the Bear proved that to be wrong.

Yeah, weirdly, Cleveland had a pretty decent draft. Maybe the owners just take turns going into money-saving mode from time to time, in some kind of organized cycle. I could easily picture them sitting around a private club, discussing who's going to 'play to win' this year.
