Fuck you, California, if you had winter like we have winter, you'd switch to shorts and sandals for the whole summer too.

I was in Cold Lake in late April. It was still freezing cold. Plenty of snow on the ground. Like mid-Winter to a Yankee.

It's 51F in Cold Lake today, that's shorts season already.

Cold Lake is actually a resort, in Northern Alberta, Cold Lake; is "the beach"

There's going to be two feet of snow in Ontario, this weekend, and I'm still wearing shorts, once shorts season starts, there's no going back.

I mean, hell, we could have snow in June...

I think it's unmasculine to worry about this type of shit. We wear cargo shorts for utility. Wearing shit to look fashionable is a feminine act.

I prefer to carry my little first aid kit, knives, multitool, etc. over looking fashionable. I couldn't give a shit if some metrosexual thinks cargo shorts are out of fashion. Let him go to fashion shows and be his own thing. Don't worry about it.

The closest thing a man needs to do in terms of appearance is to wear clothing that shows his muscularity for intimidation and dominance. You need that to ward off attacks as much as to attract females.

If you dress up nice like you earn a lot of money and whatnot, you will attract females in the wrong frame: the beta provider role.

Fuck that.
