Man, he's not a bad actor or anything, but I do not like most of John Wayne's stuff. Idk why. The Man Who Shot Liberty Vallance is awesome, as is True Grit, but I think Clint Eastwood is the ultimate cowboy. The wop westerns he did with Leone, High Plains Drifter, the Outlaw Josey Wales, Pale Rider are all amazing. Unforgiven is my favorite Eastwood film/role though. When I think of a cowboy, I think of Josey Wales not Rooster Cogburn. I can't help it.

Have you ever heard of the Gaslight Anthem? You might enjoy them. Interestingly, the lead singer is a devout Christian who made some solo religious alt rock stuff I haven't heard

Yeah the Gaslight Anthem is not a Christian band. Most contemporary Christian music is awful. It just came to mind when you mentioned Christian music. They are legit though.


As a deist, do you think that God most corresponds to Christian ideals, or do you think that Buddhists, Muslims, Taoists etc can be equally close? Do you believe in Heaven or Hell? Do you believe in an afterlife at all?
