Smitty's last post was Feb 25th, should we put his face on a milk carton?

How deep is the top and middle of the first round of this upcoming draft in your estimation? How big of a boost are the Avs gonna get here?

I think it's Matthews, Matthews doesn't like Babcock nor his systems.

Matthews has a huge ego, Babcock has a huge ego, there's not enough room in the room for both these egos.

Obliviously I think Matthews is going to win this fight in the end, I just want to get there sooner rather than later.

Can't lose in the top four, Hughes obviously, but Kakko is another Rantanen, Cozens is a young
Wayne Simmonds, Byram projects to be a Morgan Reilly.

Shame LA is making it a competition for worst team in the NHL, still think Ottawa will finish last, but it's looking like a photo finish. Would be so sweet if the Avs manage to get two top four picks.

I do think Hughes will be an order of magnitude above, he's Patty Kane, Mitch Marner, that good.

Imagine if they got both Hughes and Kakko, I might die of excitement.

Hughes is a franchise altering player, I like Brady Tkachuk a lot, but he's never going to put up a hundred plus points, which I think Hughes will do with regularity.

Hughes is like Marner, whatever line you put him on, that line will be going, put him with Jost and whoever, and then you're a two headed monster.

Style wise, Hughes is kind if like Clayton Keller, but he's Clayton Keller on steroids, Clayton Keller is a poor man's Jack Hughes.
