$10 drinks and I can't even smoke inside; "don't waste my mfing time".
Basically. Way overpaying for drinks for the fail, clubs are a fucking racket.
I quit going to bars when the smoking ban came down, being forced to smoke outside in winter, that makes me leave real fast, If I could just light up a spliff and then have dart after, at the table, then I would probably stay and drink the overpriced drinks.

The Nanny Police State killed going to the bar, house party is the only party now.
Was never of age before the Nanny Police State killed going to the bar, perhaps that is why I soured on it so quickly.

Good point.

I only went to meet girls mostly anyways.

Nowadays I embrace the Bobby Mac lifestyle, just chilling on my deck in summer, frozen margarita, beer chasers.

Thing about meeting girls is, there are plenty of other ways to meet them, other than yelling over loud music. The Nanny State ruined the club, with it's anti-smoking bullshit, it's true.

Depends what you're out to meet them for, when I was a young buck I was just after the putty.

Pure lust, no conversation required.

I did meet my wife at a pub tho.

Pub life was also ruined by the leftist Nanny.

Just to save us from tobacco, which the leftist Nanny is addicted to as well, as a revenue stream.

An important caveat, but the club has no other utility at this point.

Thanks, Leftist Nanny.

When you're single in the army you take what you can get, I didn't have the fortitude to be a monk.

I was also weaned on clubs in Europe in the 80's, which were actually da bomb.

Yeah, I missed out on all the good clubbing action, one of the major drawbacks of being born in 1988. Thems the breaks, I suppose.

In Europe it was like street party, in and out of the club, you could walk around with your drink in the street, change clubs easily, there was no Temperance Lady in Europe.

That sounds fucking awesome, Wet City. Damn Temperance Lady has to ruin everything with her Dry County Bullshit.
