Didn't work out well for Custer, though.

Finally got the wheels on this thing. I ordered some pillow block 1/2" bearings for the axles, but the bases were too big so I sent them back and went with a prior method of attaching them. Now I need to add a little more hardware and a brake and it will be finished.

Well fellow woodworkers, I finished the brake so now it's done. Forty hours' labor over a month and about $220 in parts.
