I thought that green color was great. It's just your basic Rustoleum color off the shelf at the local hardware store.

The kart was handed over pristine/unused to the lady who won the final drawing, so I have no idea what might have become of it since then.

I think it would be great to organize a community soap box derby. I know just the hill downtown that would work. Look how much fun these folks are having... (watch for the hot tub)

I got a small trophy for third place when I went to Ireland a couple of years ago. It was a borrowed kart with worn out wheel bearings and no consideration for air resistance. I'd like to go back with my own kart one day. Bloody steep hill with some tight bends on the latter part of the course. A lot of fun and plenty of Guinness at the prize giving ceremony afterwards.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Yes but it's a productive obsession. It produces trebuchets.

My wife asked me to make a box for a school thing she's doing. So I did. Half-inch plywood. As usual, my railroad tie anvil came in handy.
