How did you come to your political views? Its been a long road from listening to Rush with my dad through being a History and Poly Sci major in college, through today. I found Dan at the right time as he really captured what I was thinking

Family? I'm the biggest lefty in the family

Culture? I'm white and middle class but I grew up in a lower-middle class near ghetto town in the Bay Area

Formative Life events? Just a steady stream of education and learning. I was at my most lefty when I was taking a lot of drugs so take that however you want

Did you change political philosophies? As a teenager I basically sided with the Robber Barons until I learned about both TR and real-life economics. I got really left in college through my studies being compounded with a lot of E while being a Techno DJ. I listened to KPFA for years but I started to temper the social justice stuff as I got older and realized that competition makes us great. Right now I'd say I'm pretty right socially but I still hold a lot of lefty economic views. Especially those that pertain to giving citizens a more fair shake as opposed to the financial and corporate aspects that run the country

More than once? Constantly changing

I was largely apolitical for most of my life. My dad would always listen to NPR when I was riding around town with him but I think he did it more for my benefit. He would have voted for Al Gore but that's really the extent of my knowledge regarding his political views. He would just tell me, "judge a man by his work ethic," and that's always stuck with me.

I was always antiauthoritarian however. I would probably have been diagnosed with that new fangled "Oppositional Defiance Disorder." Got into punk rock and was like "yeah anarchy dood," for a while and then I got sent to military school where I was "fuck the man dude." Then I found the Internet and got into weird forums where I learned about hippy shit for a while. After I was done with school I hit the road, back packed around and somehow despite all my time on Skid Row or Jackson Square, that really didn't shape my political views much. It wasn't until later when I got a great paying blue collar job and started to listening to conservative talk radio that I started to become more of a conservative. Due to fact I always hated Dubbya and viewed the duopoly with suspicion I chose to identify libertarian. I would vote for key senate seats like Cruz while the rest of the ticket would be third party.

It was about last year and some change when I discovered white identity politics and that's where I've been ever sense. Libertarianism doesn't work because the only people that care about ideals like that are in fact white. The changing demographics are going to turn the Republican Party into a de facto "Party for White People," and the best thing to do is to try and operate within those constraints to shape a future for white people.

Started out a Tory like Dad, became a wet when I started to doubt the Iron lady. Wets were the Tory rebels trying to dial back the crazy of Maggie. Last one died yesterday, Jim Prior famously sent to Northern Ireland when Thatcher saw him as a threat.
Then had a dalliance with the far right because of Sid Vicious when I was about 15.
Discovered the band Crass and became a full on anarchist at 16.
Discovered cannabis at college and started a slide towards anarchic hippy.
Developed an admiration for John Major after Mags was stabbed in the front by the party and dialled back the anarcho-hippy.
Was hopeful but not hoodwinked by Blair but soon saw through him and worked out he was just Tory plan b.
Have been somewhere near the middle of the road ever since and dislike the extreme left or right.
Green politics is something I've supported since my 20's but we have no-one to really rally behind and many of the Green party over here have no clue so I'm kinda out there on my own these days gently informing (nagging) anyone who will listen.
