Sweden is average at soccer among European nations, they might be at a high point for them, but that doesn't mean they are legit world cup contender. If Hastur wants to get butthurt about the truth because he's a homer who is too emotionally invested to objectively evaluate how good his team is, he is free to do so, just like you are free to be a huge England homer and inflate the significance of their World Cup run, because someone points out the truth of their easy road to the semi's.

Getting all emotional about a realistic appraisal of your teams quality, that simply confirms you are being a homer. I don't get mad when you point out Italy would have sucked if they had qualified for the world cup, I agree with you, because it's the truth, and I don't need to pretend Italy is better than they are, like an insecure baby.
