New computer, designed to last, be repaired and upgraded by the owner

Make it so it can run Mac OS and Windows, you got yourself a deal.
People want to opt out of the globohomo disposable society and private surveillance.

The market is starting to respond, we need more of this and things like the Gab phone.

I don't disagree, but don't make it so that it's only for another niche market.

I am waiting for this type of idea to hit the auto market too. I don't need a spaceship type driver's seat to run to town to get groceries and I can't be alone.

I've been considering buying a new truck, but the cost to value ratio isn't even close.

I'm driving a 2004 F150 4x4 now, 98k miles. A new F150 costs $50k, used late model ones with 100k miles might go for 35 to 40k bucks. And I cant find any used trucks with low miles.

In doing research, truck guys dont like the new trucks and being a slav weed to the big three, which is driving the used market up.

I've decided to run mine til the engine goes, then replace the engine and do and go through it mechanically at that time. I'll probably have $10k into it and it will be like new.

I bought it with 40k miles 8 years ago. I hate vehicle payments.

We have a 2000 Dodge Dakota that we owned since new and a 1999 Acura TL that we bought from our Auntie (Classic Granny type car). And both of those have too many bells and whistles for us. :D

I want a truck without a single computer chip, and AWD. Should be about $10k. Where do I go?

You need to go back to 1978 for that.

Though through the mid 80s you could bypass the computer fairly easily. I did it in an 85 GMC

I'm trying to scoop up games worth playing for my vita before they permanently close the vita store. I'm kicking around the idea of buying Earth Defense Force 2, for the Vita. It has good reviews. Do you guys have any experience with it?
