I just bumped into somebody in No Man's Sky.

Not sure how this works, but another player was in the same system as me.

I hate creative mode because it is boring. I prefer survival mode because I am less interested in building pretty structures than in creating functional structures to survive monsters, produce food, etc.

I'm Playing No Man's Sky and got my fleet ready to take over the world ;)

That being said, I am playing randomly Destiny 2, they have Gambit out there for people to play over the weekend, and it's seriously like people don't know how to play... good lord, people suck at working together...

It must be a generation thing... it seems kids, and yes I call squeakers kids, don't understand they are not a one-man army in a game that demands you WORK TOGETHER to beat the enemy before the OPPOSING TEAM does.

It really is a simple concept, kill the enemy on your side, collect the motes, cash them. Use the portal to go on the other side and cause mayhem for the opposing team.

Your team gets enough motes in the bank, you'll call a prime evil, and if you beat it before the other team does, you win.

It doesn't seem tough, but good lord, when you get people who can't play as a team, you get fucked over quick...

Advice: start in survival mode. The regular mode is going to be too easy.

I've noticed... lol.

I got over 10 pirate kills in a few hours after leaving the 2nd planet.

In survival mode, you really need to manage your sodium and oxygen resources.

Even then, it gets somewhat straight-forward to avoid death. I think permadeath is the real game, personally. I plan to play through the rest of the campaigns and get to the center of the galaxy in survival mode. Then I will just start a permadeath game and head straight for the center instead of the campaigns.

Just focus initially on blueprints so you can generate a lot of credits. Then purchase an S-class explorer ship at a red star station. Upgrade that thing to be able to jump as far as possible, and try to reduce the number of jumps to the double digits.
