It's a manipulation of the truth. There were several defamatory remarks made but the misgendering is what the right-wing press picks up on and highlights.
Search a few articles about the case and you'll see what I mean.
Yes, I’m sure there’s an edge case for an explicit planning of murder, but this hardly qualifies.
There's nothing to be gained by going over it again.
