For what? A false construct that does not actually exist? I don't need a word to describe something which isn't a thing.

But a "society" doesn't exist, it's a fabricated rubric used to forcibly subjugate complexity into a collective for the purposes of restricting your liberty and autonomy from, the stock and trade of totalitarian leftists, trust me, I am Canadian, and "society" is the cudgel with which I am beaten about the head on a daily basis.

To recap:
I say liberty derives from society.
You say liberty exists in a vacuum, only limited by society.
One of us is right, the other entirely wrong. (Where's that desert island when you need it?)

Let's not conflate liberty with freedom. For example, freedom may be limited to increase liberty.

Here's a little exercise, get out your copy of the Constitution of the United States of America, preamble on down, and find me the word "society" anywhere in it.

"Society" is the basis of liberty, and yet Liberty Nation doesn't mention it once in its constitution? Odd, that.

"We the People" is 3 words. "Society" is 1. Substituting 3 words for 1 drags on my 1-line debating technique but if you think every time I should write "we the people," just say so.

We the people does not describe the "society", there's no limits to the society, the society included the slaves, the Indians, the loyalists, the British Army officers living in your house for free, everybody is in the "society", Martin, there's no borders in the "society", there's no autonomy from "society", the "society" was what the British Crown invoked, the Declaration of Independence from said "No".

Stamp Act? The "society". Tea Tax? For "society". Impressment? One has to defend the "society" from Bonaparte, eh wot?

I still don't have nuttin' better than "society" to describe "We The People," but I catch your drift, Lefties are always yapping about "society" too.

The "society" is the essence of what the left is all about, tear down the borders, tear down the barriers, no autonomy from the "society", all are subjugated to the collective, One World Government Kumbaya.

Chinese labourers, Mexican migrants, Arab Islamists, not Americans... oh but wait, they're part of "society!"....

British North America is part of American "society", when do I get my gibs?
