I don't think the blind deserve Daredevil. After all, they can't even see him...

It's made for people who can see anyways. So you can be happy about it.BjornP wrote:I don't think the blind deserve Daredevil. After all, they can't even see him...

Re: The Comic Thread
Btw, how well people here know European Comics?
It's something that can be a bit unknown to the US.
Like...
Lucky Luke:
Asterix:
Spirou and Fantasio
Guess Tintin should be known. (Uh, perhaps not this story...)
Although one of my favorite was Tanguy et Laverdure, a superbly drawn cartoon about two French Mirage pilots. They even bomb Afghanistan and take part in the War or Terror. As being interested about combat aircraft when I was a kid...this rare comic was a treasure.
Although there's nothing wrong with American cartoons.
Best one's are the X-men drawn By John Byrne:
And Donald Duck drawn By Carl Barks:

Re: The Comic Thread
Good selection ssu.
Some of my favourites.
Blueberry. Hands down one of the best Graphic Novels ever. Before there even was such a thing.
The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc-Sec. Dark, disturbing, weird and funny.
Valérian and Laureline. Beautiful, groundbreaking and great stories.
Bernard Prince. Some really ripping yarns.

Ah yes, Blueberry. Wasn't that drawn By Giraud? Here's Giraud drawing a Lucky Luke cartoon:

And here's René Goscinny's Blueberry tribute answer.

Marcel Gottlieb made a Lucky Luke tribute as well. All in his own style.

Spielberg made a Tin Tin movie and this summer there is a world wide Valerian and Laurelin movie coming out.ssu wrote:Btw, how well people here know European Comics?

I think feminists should own Wonder Woman. Every group needs a superhero.
It would just suck if the fat ones get a say in what Wonder Woman looks like because, holy shit, that actress who plays Wonder Woman is super hot.
Also, his rant about superheros with disabilities is fucking retarded. Some of the popular superheroes have disabilities. Daredevil is blind. Professor X is a paraplegic. All superheroes have some major setback they have to overcome, and disability is a good one for character development, and it allows disabled readers to identify with the character in some way.
Powerlifting lesbians are my friends. Take that back. Any one of them could snap you like a stick.
