I was just about the only guy not in a 4x4. Abandonned lorries at the bottom of all the hills.
Not sure about going to work tomorrow if the wind doesn't calm down.

Yeah there is that option but so far I've resisted. I like my own bed and the quiet of the farm. Plus, if I'm honest, I enjoy the adventure of driving in the snow.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Wow.. they should give you a room to stay in, when it's that bad.Montegriffo wrote:Yeah I know all that, the problem is the drifting snow being too deep for my little VW Polo to drive through. Having to go out into the cold takes all the fun out of smoking too.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Tell me about it. We've got a big cold front coming through right now too. Raining all day, then 3" of snow tonight. It's gonna be a skating rink out there.Montegriffo wrote:Yeah there is that option but so far I've resisted. I like my own bed and the quiet of the farm. Had to take a room at work tonight. Pissed off, no TV in the room and all the guests are a Christian group.
Got my car stuck in a 3 foot drift on the way to work and had to get a farmer to pull me out.
Left the car and walked the last mile across the feilds to get in.
Am bored already, stuck in my poxy little room with nothing but a radio.

As long as you have a phone charger, you should never be bored, ever. Check out "Extra History" on youtube.

There is a book in the room. Something called "the holy bible"
Anyone know if it's worth reading? This copy doesn't even say who it's written by.
