Take it to the market... you can get a lot more than a bow.
And if Smitty goes with you with that stick... I bet you can score some deep discounts.

How does one launch an attack in this game? Can I brain Xeno and take his money before he is able to arm himself? If so, I'd like to do that now, thank you.

Each rolls 1d8 initiative, add your perception bonus.Smitty-48 wrote:How does one launch an attack in this game? Can I brain Xeno and take his money before he is able to arm himself? If so, I'd like to do that now, thank you.

How can he have the initiative? I would be catching him unawares, upside the head with a stick.Speaker to Animals wrote:Each rolls 1d8 initiative, add your perception bonus.Smitty-48 wrote:How does one launch an attack in this game? Strike first strike hard doesn't gain the initiative in this game?

Do I need to make a character sheet? I rolled a 1 but I don’t know What my perception is.Speaker to Animals wrote:Each rolls 1d8 initiative, add your perception bonus.Smitty-48 wrote:How does one launch an attack in this game? I seem to remember this being the reason why I never played this game in the first place, some nerd beat me in a "fight" simply by the roll of the dice, and then he smirked at me with a little too much satisfaction, so I gave him a shot in the mouth, not too hard, just a tap really, but they all freaked out, they didn't like the rules of the locker room, down in nerd world.

All he has to do is not roll a 1 and you are dead.

The combat mechanics have always been terrible.
