I liked it a lot, the wife stayed awake for the entire movie, which honestly may have never happened before.
That was a pretty trippy movie... the employee being stuck with his weird alcoholic wealthy inventor boss... creepy on so many levels.
Also the bizarre love with a robot angle.

Really a great flick!

Both the employee and the alcoholic boss were excellent actors too.

I like the idea that the Turing Test is only really passed once the robot tries to manipulate a human into setting it free.

Watched Back to the Future with my kids.
It was weird because Marty's present was 30 years ago (mid 1980s)... which was when I was the same age as my kids are now.

I felt like I was in a double time warp.
Every time I show a classic movie to the kids, and they're bored, a little piece of my soul dies...

it's pretty great when they do connect with it though.

The kids got a kick out of Gremlins and they LOVED Ferris Bueller's day off.
The Breakfast club was a bit of a stretch for them....

Yeah, I never got that one either.

Gregory Peck, David Niven, Anthony Quinn, Stanley Baker and others.

Hadn't seen this in ages. It has a very 60's feel to it, which I guess is kinda unavoidable since it was made in 1961.

Did anyone ever have the Guns of Navarone playset? ;)

So I saw Ghost in the Shell. It was okay but the original was still much better.

Yeah, that was alright but looking back I haven't really love any movie since seeing Fury Road. That was so good and I wished that it didn't get caught up with all of the bullshit that was thrown at it.

My favorite movie is The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. I think it is the most beautifully shot movie I've ever seen. The cinematography is perfect. Casey Affleck was great in that movie too. Just perfect all around.
