Speaking of Vegas, giving up a 1st, 2nd and 3rd round pick for Tatar, I know they got picks to burn but what the fuck is that?Smitty-48 wrote:Got a game in hand on LA, so you can claw over them tonight with a little help from Vegas #oneteamatatime

It's like Ken Holland has George McPhee's balls in a jar or something.Smitty-48 wrote:Wow, that is a fleecing and a half for Deetroyt, they took them to the cleaners.

A hockey trade for a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, you'd think they'd be able to get someone like Tatar, but much younger and cheaper, $5.3 million cap hit for three more years, for a small one dimensional 20 goal scorer passing his prime.

MacKinnon with the empty netter, 3-1. Super Saiyan MacKinnon had one hell of a game, 2 goals, 1 assist - 3 points and the game winner, had an assist on the goal called back, and could have had a lot more. Canucks had no answer for him tonight.

Thing about Tatar, he doesn't drive play, when the team is good, he's good, when the team is sucking, he's invisible, so I think it will work for Vegas so long as they stay hot, but if they come back to earth, Tatar will be a fifth wheel. I mean, if he's so useful, why were the Wings so eager to be rid of him? He's 27, he's under contract, he scores 20+, but they're like take this guy off our hands; red flag.

It's not an outrageous contract for a 20+ goal scorer, unless of course, said 20+ goal scorer doesn't do much else to speak of.StCapps wrote:You mean aside from that contract?Smitty-48 wrote:Thing about Tatar, he doesn't drive play, when the team is good, he's good, when the team is sucking, he's invisible, so I think it will work for Vegas so long as they stay hot, but if they come back to earth, Tatar will be a fifth wheel.
