Damn.. an hour later than EST. We could watch all that before the 9pm cut-off (though they often showed another Dukes of Hazard at 10pm).

Oneseasonwonderitis, The True Detective Effect. I'm thinking Westworld might also fall prey to same thing.

They are making a third TD season and Pizzato and HBO were honest and open enough to admit their mistake with the second one. I havent lost all hope yet, and you shouldnt either. We may get a solid effort the third time around. If we dont, I will start calling you the tv oracle for your accurate predictions. Deal?

The Homeland Effect is probably more accurate I suppose. Westworld could fall off in it's second season, it's another prime candidate for that. If Mr. Robot can bounce back to being a quality but flawed show, after a Sophomore Slump, then you can't write True Detective off when it comes to that, but I pretty much have anyway.

If I'm pleasantly surprised, so be it, but I don't expect it to happen, yet I didn't expect Mr. Robot to bounce back either, so you never know.

I'm also nervous about Westworld. Anytime a show is built on twists its bound to disappoint when people are expecting more twists

I'm watching the new season of The Grand Tour. I can expect what that show is going to be and it never disappoints

Yeah, it's surprisingly good. Those guys have maintained quality like no other show on television.
