Fuck off, commie. I've never seen a grammar program that works well. Something tells me it's not very easy to make.
That is why it's online only, the backend is on the server, and not on your end which is the client.

Well I trust it even less to have proper grammar. I'm not a PHD like Flip but I've seen some really shitty grammar programs. If they are sourcing it to a cloud (this is what is sounds like to me,) it probably uses algorithms that pull from people typing google searches with their thumbs on a five inch screen.

Leaving out that comma creates all kinds of problems with meaning, particularly when you are dealing with lists that have somewhat different items. That's playing with fire.

As they say:
Grammarly’s algorithms flag potential issues in the text and suggest context-specific corrections for grammar, spelling, and use, wordiness, style, punctuation, even plagiarism. Grammarly explains the reasoning behind each correction, so you can make an informed decision about whether, and how, to correct an issue.

Fortune favors the bold! Not only does it make one's sentences less clunky to abandon the spurious Oxford comma, but it is also a sign of bravery!
