Maybe some political opponent set it up just in case they had to get their smear campaign on should the election get tight.

The thing with Instagram is you're going to want to leverage their "Live Video" feature. Meaning you have to hit the record button on YOUR phone, aim it at YOURSELF, and speak to the people directly. It's not something you can really outsource. Even if you could (shared password, whatever), why would you want to? There is nothing easier than posting crap on Instagram, and you can maintain that tight control, Trump style, over the account.


Now, if you were putting together a "media team" that would handle all social media accounts, edit the videos, and time the releases by platform it might make sense to hook them into your Instagram. But as a lone wolf operating with random assists from faceless internet goons, it's probably best to control your own Instagram lest the world be treated to a 30 sec video of ND's scholng as he sings "Deutschland, Deutschland, Uber Alles" on your video feed.
