Dungeons and Dragons is still there in packed away in a box in your closet wondering WTF is wrong with you.

All my friends grew up, and I don't have time to play. Video games are all I have now.

That's the problem that needs to be addressed. I think we just need places where regular (good) games are played all the time.

Nuke should play a jew who has money magic abilities...

EA voluntarily dropped their loot crate prices by 75%, and then nearly dropped them completely, right before release.

Impossible to say whether this was from the backlash, or a planned maneuver. But the game isn't doing that well anyway in the reviews.

Considering that thousands, if not millions, of people were criticizing the video game publisher for its predatory tactics, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger reportedly stepped in to make sure EA got things back on track. A few hours after both company’s heads spoke, EA backtracked their “pride and accomplishment” stance and temporarily rolled back Battlefront II‘s microtransactions, though they’re leaving the door open to re-implement the feature later down the line when the heat dies down. As it turns out, in addition to making Disney happy (since they hold the Star Wars IP), EA has another reason for appeasing consumers.

Video game publisher Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) is set to launch its big holiday game, Battlefront II, in a few days. That launch has been looked at by many as the catalyst which will spring EA stock out of the sideways trading pattern which has dominated the stock since June. Battlefront II was the reason to buy EA stock this holiday season.

It appears the fight against loot boxes in video games is gaining serious momentum. First, Belgium officially declared loot boxes as a form of gambling. Now, the state of Hawaii is taking steps to fight the “predatory practices” of companies like EA.
