No one really knows what happened at the stone circles when they were in use. There is archaeological evidence of large gatherings such as fires and feasts. There are objects thought to be offerings but anyone who tells you what actually happened has a theory at best.
It's all part of the enigma and makes them even more interesting.
There is even evidence of a murder on the site at Stonehenge (well a body with arrow injuries) but none of any sacrificial deaths that I know of.
If your theory is of penis worship I think that probably says more about you than neolithic stone circles.

Shits busy at the homestead getting ready for the big holiday. The wife has shit all over the house, she's making cookies, soap, and candles...…………… lots of essential oils potions going on.

I've been spending time in the shop, steering clear of the chaos in the house. I've made a few knives, and a pot handle I forged that I'm particularly happy with. I'm going to have to shift to wood working for the remainder of the Xmas gifts.
