Monte, or hell anyone,

Talk to me about meat loaf ingredients and cook tips
Sprinkle with parsley and serve from the dish.
Enjoy.
Lightly fried... LOL. You can't tame us savages. Ground Beef ball and some crackers with ketchup. Same Same.
To each their own, I guess. ;)

Monte, or hell anyone,

Talk to me about meat loaf ingredients and cook tips
Meat mix:
400gr minced meat (50/50 pork, beef is best)
4 TBL breadcrumbs
1 TBL potato starch
2 dl milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 egg
1 ml pepper
2 TBL finely chopped onion. Lightly fried

Mix breadcrumbs, potato starch and milk. Let it sit for at least 10 min. Put in meat and salt and mix well. Add egg, pepper, oregano and onion and make sure it is well mixed. Don't work too much, that will make it rubbery.

More ingredients:
8-10 potatoes
2-3 onions
3-4 carrots
3 dl beef stock
2 TBL melted butter
1 TBL soy sauce
parsley

Set the oven at 480°F. Put the meat mix on a large ovenproof plate and form it into a chubby loaf. Peel potatoes, onions and carrots. Cut potatoes and onions into wedges, and slice the carrots thinly. Boil the carrots and onion in the stock for 5 min. pick them up, but keep the stock.
Put the potatoes, onions and carrots around the meatloaf. Brush everything with a mix of butter and soy sauce.
Put the plate in the middle of the oven, lower the heat to 350°F and cook for 1 hr. Spoon it with 1-1½ dl of stock after half the time.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve from the dish.
Enjoy.

Sounds like a useful laxative, when you lead the future hawaiian nation out of the embers.
