Dude, just stop. Watched it again on ESPN, and it's a catch. He had control with his right arm, and adjusted it to keep it tucked. It was never 'loose'.The Conservative wrote:Right, and you are just showing your bias as clear as day... you can't tell me that the first of two Eagle touchdowns was called correctly. Eagles won with the help of the refs. Without one or both of those calls that were reviewed that gave the Eagles a TD, the game never would have been close.
If anything beat the Pats today, it was piss-poor tackling. They let a backup qb put up nearly 400 yds on them, and the run defense was a joke all game.
Besides, if it weren't for a completely BS pass interference call, the Jags would have been in that game.

1 penalty, only one penalty called on the Pats. But yeah the refs were out to get them. STFU you homer! The Pats got away with a ton of shit in this game. Pass interference in the end that was not called, not once but twice! What did I tell you TC?! There is a time for good men to do bad things.

Yeah, it was a bad call... sorry, but when even the announcers were saying they should not have been called catches. I trust the announcers more than the refs because the refs as of late have been more detrimental to winning or losing to the entire league than the players on the field.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Dude, just stop. Pride nothing, I've said everything I need to, because I can as I said, if the roles were reversed, you'd be all crying foul... so yeah, hypocrisy much?SilverEagle wrote:1 penalty, only one penalty called on the Pats. Collinsworth was a kicker 30 years ago, and Al Michaels hasn't touched a football in his life. I was cussing those bozos out when they started their little 'doubt' game. The Conservative wrote:Yeah, it was a bad call... sorry, but when even the announcers were saying they should not have been called catches. If it was Gruden, Romo, or any actual football player, I'd give them more weight. Those two are just bozos.

Gronk interviewed after the game, was very uncertain if he would retire.

Re: NFL 2017
Just a heads up, when the first call about the TD shouldn't have been if it was one or not, but the fact that the formation was illegal, but let's ignore that because it was against the pats and the pats paid off the refs right? Bullshit, that is what this was.

It appears as if the Eagles were in an illegal formation before the snap.
The fourth down trick play TS to Nick Foles was an illegal formation, should have been called back…extended WR to the top of the screen is off the ball (needs to be on the line with just the OT on inside him). #SB52 #Eagles #Patriots pic.twitter.com/tdX7hIpiGu

The NFL rulebook states that the offense must have seven players on the line of scrimmage. Philadelphia appears to have six, with all five offensive linemen and Torrey Smith to the bottom of the screen. Alshon Jeffery does not appear to be on the line of scrimmage.
