Never played it, but I do love a good pirate game. And there aren’t many out there.

Check out Blackwake. It’s a fun sailing-combat arena.
I'll look into it, another less serious one I'm geared up for is Sea of Thieves. https://www.seaofthieves.com
I was interested in that one for a minute, but yeah... looks a little silly.

Kingdom Come? Yeah, that might be my first full-price purchase in a long, long time.

It looks silly, but why not? Since when has Rare ever come out with serious games?

Perfect Dark, GoldenEye, Wizards & Warriors, etc.

But yeah, that is a heavy name behind it. I’ll wait for reviews and discount, I think.

Compared to their other games?
Banjo series
Grabbed at the Ghoulies
Battletoads
Blast Corps
Diddy Kong Racing
Jetpac and Refuled
Killer Instinct Gold and 2,
Solar Jetman

I mean seriously, they were knows for Battletoads more than any other game, and there was a reason, but even so, Rare has a hit on their hands I think.

I just hope they don't get bogged down in the mechanics too much and destroy the story because of it.

I lost interest in AC after the 3rd game. It's pretty, but just too damned easy. You're basically going through the motions, to follow a ridiculous storyline.

Unity - the game engine? KSP just converted to Unity, I believe. Seems to be working well enough.

I'm all good thanks.

Not sure it's worth installing Windows, though.

PC games should be made for Linux by default these days. Just test the games on the most common distros like Ubuntu, Mint, etc. Or, for that matter, maybe Valve can create a default PC gaming distro branched off Ubuntu.

If they actually did that, I'd switch to Linux. Gaming is 90% of the reason that I still use Windows at home.
