Why does a drow have to stay in the UnderDark?
Is this one of those damn blood and soil arguments again?

Did Drizzt leaving create an intellectual and leadership vacuum for other male drow? Was it immoral?

Drow come out from the Underdark all the time, both in Dragonlance and in Forgotten Realms.

Maybe that’s why the Matriarchy exists.
The rest of the world is draining the UnderDark of anyone who could make a difference.
