When we land on Mars to claim that for America too, this is exactly how we should pose for the camera. Plant the flag and put your arms out in the universal come at me, bro gesture.

It's a board game based on the card game.

Oh, okay. I wonder if your kids are into D&D, like to old school version where you have to roll dice?

There's plenty of table top gaming on with the kids these days.

Yep...

I created 4 modules for them levelling them up to level 5 AD&D (i think it's third edition)...
I will say that they were better adventures than I ever played back in my day.
Super rewarding... but it takes a lot of prep as the dungeon master... and I haven't had the energy for it lately.

This is less work for me... takes less prep... but is still plenty of fun.

I see- it's great that they are playing board games- just keep them away from Monopoly. Monopoly destroys friendships and family.

That, and trivia games. I've lost several friends by being "too smart". Lol

Sneaky humblebrag there, Karl Manx.

Wintertime is usually cleaning and prepping the fishing gear for next year. Attend fishing expos looking for good deals on more shit I probably don't need. Might even pick fly tying back up.

Although, it's going to be a slow start this year without the old man around.

Karl Manx... LMFAO

I picked up fly fishing many, many years ago, but never the tying. Probably because I couldn't catch shit with it. :D I just enjoy the zen of casting.

I told you I was saving one.

To me, catching is the bonus. Just being out wherever is the best part. Being by myself or even getting to bullshit with some friends; doesn't matter. I get giddy thinking about hitting the surf.

I also want to get the garage put on my house so I can have a place to start building fishing rods too. I took a class on it this past summer and had a great time doing it. Too much that I want to do and not enough time to do it. :|
