BAE gets it right.
The Tempest mockup suggests a relatively large single-seat, twin-engine delta-wing fighter with a cranked trailing edge and two vertical stabilizers (tail fins) canted inwards as on the F-22 stealth fighter. According to analyst Justin Bronk, these last improve maneuverability and suggest emphasis on kinematic performance over pure stealth. The larger airframe also implies a desire for greater range and weapons load than an F-35 can muster in stealth mode. However, reportedly no performance parameters such as maximum speed, range, radar cross-section etc. were stated in the presentation.

A fighter needs to perform as a fighter first and foremost.

Man. This f35 sounds more badass everyday. If they have to hype their defunct f22 so bad you know the f35 is kicking ass.

Jews are building parts of the F-35.

Though.. I'd imagine they are going to go all in on the F-15X because they love them some F-15 over there.

Also, the F-22 and the F-35 is made by the same company. LOL

When F-35 gets ramped down because these aircraft don't actually fulfill their role, the most likely outcome will be contracts for new F-22 models, which will just involve porting the avionics over to the F-22 airframe since it's all the same company. Lockmart has this scam locked in, actually.

The F-22 is actually a great airframe. It just needs a new updated model.

Even less range if you go with that model.

USAF used to set the minimum standard that a fighter should be able to cross the Atlantic to reach Britain without refueling. F-35 can't even go farther than about 250 nm before it splashes. Realistic combat range is much much shorter than what they list on paper.

That's not going to work.
