Then go look at your purchase history and put up or shut up.

Faithful member of the forums for 5 years, some dickhole moderator wiped out my entire posting history last spring. Still a little pissed about that, but I've never had a complaint about the purchase.

The original Intercontinental Kraken had not been fixed (Moving far from the KSC will result in shaking and even Rapid Unplanned Disassembly.)
I'm guessing both of you bought into the KSP early access alpha demo/scam before I did.

There was an actual game to play..

We spent like 14 dollars too. There was no digital spaceship sales.

Hey now, not all video games are actual games to play!

I bought and played through Gone Home, I should know...

Even the earliest versions of KSP were a pretty far cry from what I've seen of SC. You basically have a cute demo, with a dogfighting simulator. No actual game exists, whereas KSP had the planetary mechanics, rocket assembly, flight, all in place from the start. Everything since has been adding systems to a very, very solid core of gameplay.

    New
The Spaceplane Hangar Facility, allows you to build vehicles horizontally, and launch them from a Runway
They didn't even have spaceplanes yet, and he's in here pretending he doesn't do early-access.

v0.14.4 This is where Grumps bought into the early-access alpha demo/scam. Long before the alpha was feature complete.
    Released 3rd April, 2012
    New
Added Shader Model 2 fallback shaders for the terrain. Doesn't look as pretty, but solves the black terrain issue on SM2 video cards.
Exposed terrain parameters on the Video Settings screen (Now called Graphics Settings).
Option to force using SM2 shaders even on SM3 compatible hardware.
    Bug Fixes
Sometimes vessels could still be seen as being under acceleration and not get saved. This is fixed now.
Tweaked the terrain system to use less memory.
Updated Kerbin's diffuse map, to remove the blue on the ice caps on map view and tracking station.
Launching the updater with the game in fullscreen mode will no longer cause the updater to crash.
The game will no longer launch the patcher if the latest update is available only as a full download. It will open the KSP Store instead.

If that's the criteria to be considered an actual game to play, I got bad news for ya. Star Citizen Alpha launched with way more than KSP did.

Now show us where in the early access alpha demo/scam you ponied up the cash for a game that was still in development.

I mean.. I put over a hundred hours of solid gameplay, built lots of ships from scratch, and managed to land on three planets and many more moons. The game actually worked. Somebody built it.

Nor did they spend all their time modeling spaceships they sold for hundreds of dollars. It was a flat discounted price tag for an actual game.

To even call what SC puts out an "alpha release" is laughably misleading. Alpha release implies the core game is built. SC is not anywhere near alpha. There is no core game. None of the milestones are even met. The requirements doc keeps changing too.

No, faggot. KSP launched with one usable rocket. You could rebuild one rocket, over and over. Learn to read,
v0.7.3

KSP's first alpha release was not a fucking game. It was an alpha with almost no playable content. They then spent the next four years adding little pieces until it launched officially in 2015. Even then, they have continued to add in more gameplay elements. Someone was saying something about feature creep. Is he around here?

Star Citizen launched its first alpha with over a dozen unique spacecraft.

SC modeled hundreds of spaceships they sold to victims of this scam. You can sort of "fly" around extremely limited demos with you pixel spaceship, but that in no way constitutes a game.

To call this an alpha release, even, is a abomination.

Wrong.
Alpha software can be unstable and could cause crashes or data loss. Alpha software may not contain all of the features that are planned for the final version.[2] In general, external availability of alpha software is uncommon in proprietary software, while open source software often has publicly available alpha versions. The alpha phase usually ends with a feature freeze, indicating that no more features will be added to the software. At this time, the software is said to be feature complete.

Beta phase generally begins when the software is feature complete but likely to contain a number of known or unknown bugs.
But keep moving those goalposts. No one's noticing. I promise.
