Ricky Rayuh! Two week in a row, marches it down the field, come from behind late drive for the win, throwing to DeVier Posey!

Un-frikkin-believable, even I thought the Argos were going to lose this game!

Grey Cup, bay-bee, oh yeah!

Party Time!

Three nil down, Australia have won the five test series and now our top batsman finally shows some form :( In his 6 previous innings he only scored a total of 83 runs.
Alistair Cook currently 244 (highest ever score against Australia in Australia) not out England 491 runs with one wicket remaining. A first innings lead of 164 at the end of the 3rd day.

Be nice to not lose 5 nil.

Swarms of locusts could attack football pitches and cause a "global scandal" at this summer's World Cup, according to a Russian government official.

Pyotr Chekmarev said around a million hectares of land in southern Russia was infested with locusts.

Watched some cricket the other day. They cut out 90% of the game time, and just went pitch-to-pitch. It was interesting, but the scoring system is still something devised by meth heads.

I think Americans would like the limited overs game 20 overs (120 balls) each. Every ball is attacked and wickets fall regularly. Only takes about 4 hrs start to finish.

Sounds more reasonable.

It's a good introduction but most cricket purists still prefer the long game. There are numerous fielding restrictions to help the batters in limited overs cricket and it's all a bit hit and hope without the subtlety of a five day test match.

Cricket nerds never want the game to end, everyone else doesn't want to watch matches that go on for days. Game of Nerds, you only make it so long because you are a bunch of snobs who want to limit how many casual fans follow the sport. That's my theory.

Is there any strategery at all, or just pitch, pitch, bat, bat?

Most of the strategy is in placing the fielders and deciding which bowler to use against each batter but the batting side has a few options as well like deciding which balls to attack and which to defend.
