New podcast: nukedog and some randoms

I think Nuke's got a somewhat novel experience that not many people know much about, not in our society, anyway.

I have no idea how much of it is true, and how much is him just dicking around. If his stories are real, then yeah - that could be a very interesting podcast. He could get into social issues, problems with the police, food kitchens, divorce proceedings, all kinds of stuff advocating for the homeless.

He posted pictures of that whopper he caught in the gulf last summer.

Could do an episode on learning to fish, learning the local waters, philosophy of fishing.

I'm actually a pretty strong writer, if you need help Nuke. Just put up an episode or two, so I can pick up your style.

I don't plan on outright doxxing myself tbh. This is all just a fever dream atm but usually when I talk to some of you guys I enjoy it.

I mean van advice is something else. I try to avoid talking about my personal problems. I'm probably not going to talk about that kind of.stuff.

You could use an alias, and not say exactly where you park your van or whatever. But authenticity is key to having a public image. If the listener detects that you're bullshitting, they're gone.

I say that Nuke does a local history podcast of the places where he has been. That would be cool to hear (unlike someone, who will not be named, who hasn't posted anything in their history podcast for months now....). He can go around and dig up local stories, talk to local historians, etc... Hell, he can travel to different places in his van and have the podcast be about him just going to learn new history all over the place.

I would think that your personal adventures are more likely to be novel than your thoughts on politics, and would be more likely to entertain.

You do a couple shows about weekends on the coast. Some day in the life episodes about what it's like in the factories and the oil industry. You have some special guest shows about some far right wing chef/juggler recorded on location in a British castle.

That's the sort of adventures I would think are low in supply on the market.

Actually could blend the 2 ideas.

Man in a Van, just wandering through the American Experience, a part of that is looking at the wide variety of political beliefs. The episodes with hardcore Commies and Nazis would get a ton of listeners if there is any quality at all.
