Where?

Derp.
Jobs that don't pay the minimum wage aren't subsidized if you replace it with UBI, so more workers can be hired to jobs that need doing but aren't worth the minimum wage, which leads to more employment. It's pretty simple really, governments are just slow to catch on is all.

We’re all vastly interested in the well considered and highly developed economic theories of StCapps. Thanks for sharing, clown.

I notice the actual answer to my question was “nowhere”.

The first nation to try it will reap the benefits, but if you try take away the minimum wage and replace it with something better, they'll accuse of you of hating the poor, and the rubes buy it. Politically it's a hard sell, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work better.

Finland is trying it, and it’s failing for obvious reasons.
Well, reasons that are obvious to folks on the right half of the intellectual bell curve.

They still have a minimum wage. They aren't trying my plan, they have both UBI and a minimum wage, they didn't replace the minimum wage with UBI. Also Finland seems to be doing pretty good, despite not heeding my advice, so trying to paint Finland as economic failure because of UBI is kind of odd. If they got rid of the minimum wage, and raised the UBI, the Finnish system would work better.

The entire country of Finland isn't doing UBI, they're running an experiment that is failing.

But I see you've already stolen the Communists excuse for their failed ideas to whip out in defense of your own failed ideas.
"That's not real Communism/UBI."

It's just a (too) limited experiment and it's too soon to tell.

How is the experiment failing? You saying it's failing, doesn't make it a failure.

According to DB though it's a failure though, his confirmation bias tells him so.

Yeah - I used to be one to complain about how horribly the Chinese are treated. Once I learned and understood how much they suffered under Mao, it got put into perspective for me. Capitalism is the cure for poverty. The question is, what is the cure for capitalism once it gets to stage 4 Crony Syndrome?
Account abandoned.
